Lance Berkman received recognition for his outstanding play for the Month of May getting the Player of the Month Award for the 2nd time in his career. In May he hit a ML best .471 with 9 homers, 11 doubles, and 22 RBI.

Currently he ranks in the top 3 in batting average, homers, and RBI, (.385, 17, 47), not to mention the 10 bases he has swiped. Hopefully “Fat Elvis” can keep up the pitching destruction and carry the ‘Stros to a great season and maybe even a playoff run.
